WATER TREATMENT
Healthy water starts with a good water treatment system. Advanced Radon Mitigation & Water Treatment is here to help you install anything from a small, “Point of Use” drinking water system, for spring-like water at your tap, to a larger “Point of Entry” system to provide clean, clear water for your entire home.

DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT’S
IN YOUR WATER?
Due to the abundance of Radium deposits within the New Hampshire soil, the question is not is there radon in the water, but is there enough radon in your well water to cause concern?
Radon is “Aquaphobic.” It would rather be in the air than in the water. When you turn on the faucet, the pressurized water that flows out from the faucet is now reduced to atmospheric pressure, and the gas is released into the air- similar to what happens to the “fizz” in a bottle of soda when it is opened for the first time.

WHAT IS ARSENIC?
Arsenic is a natural element that can be found in rocks and soil, water, air, and in plants and animals. People can also be exposed to arsenic in the environment from some agricultural and industrial sources.
Arsenic occurs naturally in the environment. We normally take in small amounts in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat. People can also be exposed to arsenic in some other ways, such as in some man-made products.
Too much can be bad for our bodies, but there are simple things we can do to avoid too much arsenic.
We use 2 types of effective methods to remove arsenic from private water supplies:
1) point of use reverse osmose, commonly called RO. RO can be thought of as filtration at a molecular level.
2) point of entry or whole house using hybrid media that utilizes both Ion exchange and absorption into the resin.

WHAT IS A PH NEUTRALIZER?
If your water is too acidic, a neutralizer can bring the water’s pH to a more neutral level. Acidic water can be a real problem for your home’s plumbing. It may cause corrosion of metal pipes, blue-green staining, dry hair and skin, and the leaching of metals like lead into your water.
The pH of acidic water can be raised to a neutral range by the use of an acid neutralizer tank. This happens when allowing calcium carbonates to dissolve in the water. This will then eliminate the corrosive effect the water has on plumbing and fixtures with proper service.

ENHANCE YOUR WATER WITH WATER SOFTENER
For private wells, we install high-capacity water softeners designed specifically to reduce iron, manganese, and hardness minerals that cause staining and buildup. This system helps protect plumbing, appliances, and fixtures while improving water clarity and overall quality.
For homes on municipal water, we offer the Impression Series® RC, a dual-media system that removes chlorine, softens water, and minimizes salt usage.

FAQs
We will answer any questions you may have.
Arsenic is a natural element that can be found in rocks and soil, water, air, and in plants and animals. People can also be exposed to arsenic in the environment from some agricultural and industrial sources.
Arsenic occurs naturally in the environment, and we are exposed to small amounts through air, water, and food. Excessive exposure can be harmful, but there are ways to minimize it.
Reverse osmosis (RO) is an effective method for removing arsenic from private water supplies. It works by forcing water through a selective membrane. For a free quote, contact Advanced Radon Mitigation & Water Treatment.
A water neutralizer adjusts acidic water to a more neutral pH level, preventing issues like corrosion of metal pipes, blue-green staining, dry hair and skin, and the leaching of metals like lead into the water.
A water softener addresses hard water issues, making it easier to produce suds. It also reduces chlorine and other unwanted tastes while softening the water.
